In the first days of this year, KEDS mobilized hundreds of field workers to be ready to intervene in case the need arises after the drastic drop in temperatures and bad weather that hit the country.

While on the one hand our field teams were doing excellent field work, in Prishtina the new KEDS Academy journey had already begun, which would welcome over 60 new pupils/students.

Throughout this time, KEDS continued to invest in network maintenance and reinforcement, to enable a stable and quality supply for our customers.

KEDS mobilized over 1300 workers for elections

KEDS during that day had over 1300 field workers who ensured that the distribution of electricity was stable in the polling stations across the country. In addition, KEDS had made available at the polling stations about 1000 emergency batteries, which were ready to be used in case of need. There were also 70 mobile generators available for the polling stations to be used in case of any network problems, so that the voting process could proceed as planned. Electricity supply during Election Day was monitored in real time through the state-of-the-art Kosovanet program and the SCADA substation control system, which provided detailed data on each situation created on the ground.
