Today we had the pleasure of hosting the professor from FIEK, Mrs. Vjollca Komoni, and the co-founder of the "Women in Energy and Mining" initiative, in a meeting with some of the KEDS and KESCO engineers.

She spoke about her journey over 40 years, as an expert in electro-energy, former Dean of the Technical Faculty, and a woman who continued her post-graduate studies abroad, continuing to contribute to our country, despite the difficult circumstances of the time .

"When you work, research, and know the profession well, there is no one who can stop you", was her message to our engineers, many of whom participated in the discussion through questions and comments.

With a broad background in teaching, and in the implementation of projects and research in the field of energy, the professor proved to us that with persistence and work, we can eliminate all barriers that hinder us from success.

We thank Women in Energy and Mining for organizing this meeting, as part of Women's History Month.
