Fighting abuses in the electricity grid is the daily mission of the company. The high commitment, professionalism, and mobilization of more than 50 teams on a daily basis throughout Kosovo has resulted in the reduction of losses to 15.96%.

These data are based on the last report of October of this year, according to which they have been minimized to almost 50 percent since 2013 when they were over 31%. Our teams are equipped with the most modern tools for identifying electricity theft and manage to detect even the most sophisticated forms. So, no one can escape the registration of spent kilowatts, therefore consumers should not be prey to various temptations from irresponsible individuals.

The only form where those who are supplied with electricity will not have any trouble is the legal form, namely by registering each kilowatt through the electric meter installed by KEDS. Cases of deviation from legality are facing the law and receiving the deserved response.

Cases of misuse are submitted to the relevant department of KEDS, from where they are prepared for further proceedings in the courts of Kosovo.

Misuse of electricity is unacceptable and punishable by the laws of Kosovo.
