A country's energy system is not an easy system to understand and manage. The complex nature of the technique used today poses a real challenge to the proper performance of work in this system. Kosovo energy system, in addition to the ordinary technical nature, has long been and remains specific, given the working history of this system.

The reality is that in order for an entire energy system to be successful, four components must be successful and functional that do not do without each other. These components are:

• Sufficient and permanent generation of electricity,
• Sufficient and fully functional energy facilities for transmission and distribution of electricity from the point of generation to the final consumer,
• Safe placement of all locally produced energy at prices that reflect the cost and the local and regional market,
• Strong and functional legal infrastructure that protects every kilowatt/h distributed to the final consumer and vice versa.

Currently, the electricity produced in our country by the power plants "Kosova A" and "Kosova B" is not sufficient to saturate local consumption with electricity, which means that new sources are needed for electricity production (given the raw material that our country has). In such a situation, a higher consumer and institutional awareness will be needed about the importance of megawatts produced and distributed to the consumer and the observance of the obligations that the consumer has for the product served at home, office or any other facility by KEDS .

Extremely positive and encouraging developments have been recorded in KEDS, both in the field of operation, maintenance, as well as in the investments in the electricity distribution network.

New energy facilities of all levels (part belonging to KEDS) have been built in the distribution of electricity and new networks have been set up. These investments have enabled consumers to have a more reliable and quality supply of electricity. KEDS is continuing with investments, which as a final result have a permanent and quality supply of electricity to consumers.

Success in a company means a lot and all that is included in this single word means planning and professional commitment oriented towards achieving the objectives, and if you ask me, if we are capable and can achieve success in the times ahead of us , my immediate and unreserved response would be that yes, we are capable and we can, and new successes will be achieved.
