On the Ferizaj-Shtime road, along the way, dozens of concrete poles have taken place. Exactly in Koshare of Ferizaj, the new electrical network is completely replacing the outdated network that was endangering the residents every day, while they had problems with low voltage.

In this village, located in the southeastern part of Kosovo, electricity is being solved once and for all. KEDS there is investing around 100 thousand euros in the electricity network.

The medium and low voltage network is being reconstructed and replaced with a completely new network. The new transformer which is being installed in this village, will have sufficient capacities to meet the demand for consumption while the 120 concrete poles that are being installed will increase safety in the community.

This will directly affect the quality of electricity services for the residents of that area.

These investments have been waiting for years, says the representative of Koshare village, Sadik Qerimi.

"It is known that just like in other cities and villages, here too the war has done great damage. Both household damage and in the electricity network. Now, after a period, although in the meantime it has  been invested in smaller parts, at our request, KEDS has decided to invest and make a new network. Earlier we had problems with low voltage but now we hope that with these investments, we will not have any more problems", said Qerimi.

Meanwhile, Ozman Osmani, the leader of a KEDS team that is carrying out the works in this village says that from these works, the residents will have significantly better services. "With the completion of this project, security increases, the capacity of electricity supply increases, the old poles will be dismantled and a new transformer will be installed at the Sports Hall", added Osmani.

The villagers themselves are satisfied with these investments. They even welcome the removal of wooden poles which are being replaced with concrete poles. "Regarding the work of KEDS we are very satisfied because the wooden poles are being removed and placed concrete ones", said Remzi Jakupi, a resident of this village.

These investments are the realization of KEDS 'commitment to be as close as possible to the citizens of Kosovo and to continuously improve services for them.
