Three transformers have been added to the distribution network of the country only in the village of Ratishë, which lies at the beginning of a mountainous area in opposition to Bjeshke and Nemuna, very close to the lake of Radonić.

They got to work these days to fix the electricity supply in that area once and for all. Parallel to them, KEDS has also built a completely new medium voltage network in branches and a low voltage network for Ratishas, which includes 130 new poles.

So everything is new there. This means that they have the electricity infrastructure fixed for several decades, along with the guarantee that they will receive qualitative, safe and modern services.

Investing in the electricity network of Kosovo continues to remain a fundamental priority of KEDS, with the aim of completing the right energy transition - the transition from a traditional network to a modern network, which coincides with the advanced technological-energy industry.

Thanks to the dedication of KEDS for achieving this transition, which is only being done through investments all over Kosovo, many cities and locations are benefiting from them.

Only during the year 2023, KEDS has implemented 400 projects throughout Kosovo, most of which have been completed, while a small part of them will be implemented this year.
