In order to familiarize the students with the equipment for Safety and Health at Work, KEDS managers held a lecture for students at SHFMU "Elena Gjika", in Pristina. The lecture had an informative nature with protective equipment, dangers from electricity, safety, and health at work in general.

In addition to the presentation where the students were involved by asking questions about safety and health, this activity was followed by a demonstration of protective equipment to the students, where they had the opportunity to be more informed as well as to see closely some simple examples of how to protect ourselves from electrical hazards.

The two trainers from KEDS, Fatbardha Mehani, and Burim Islami, said that such informative lectures are very necessary for everyone.

"We are very happy that we are sharing all our professionalism in relation to safety and health at work with wonderful students who are very eager for knowledge. Such lectures help tremendously in preparing them for increased care towards each situation from an early age. The interest of the students in this aspect is impressive, and obviously, we as a company are open to such collaborations as this one with the Kosovo Initiative for Stability", they said.

Among other things, the managers from KEDS indicated that the students were very interested and enthusiastic to learn more about the equipment in front of them.

This is the fourth year in a row that KEDS is marking the European Week for Safety and Health at Work, which is marked every year across Europe.

KEDS is a company dedicated to advancing the best possible conditions for our employees. In addition to the Training Center which has been operational since 2018, KEDS is licensed to provide occupational health and safety professional qualifications.
