At the entrance of Mitrovica, aside the road, there is a sign with an inscription on it. It orients you to the village of Kçiq i Vogël, which is already being transformed with a completely new network of low and medium voltage.

The two and three-storey houses from which the picturesque landscape of Mitrovica is seen,  will no longer have difficulties with electricity supply.

Dozens of concrete pillars have been installed there. And with them, hundreds meters of completely new cables have been laid. While, three new substations that have been built, will enable qualitative and sustainable the energy supply for residents of that area.

A resident of this village tells how here, since the 70s when the network was established, it has never been invested, but that KEDS investments have satisfied the residents a lot.

"Since the 70s, there has been no investment here. The whole village was supplied with a transformer. We had very weak electricity and the power wires in the village are not safe at all," says Jashar Kajtazi.

Further, he says that these investments made by KEDS, strengthen the security in the village.

"Now the concrete pillars have been installed along with the new cables and the electricity is much better. This investment in the network has made us very happy as residents because now our life has become much easier” concluded Kajtazi.

KEDS continues to invest strongly in the electricity network throughout the country, holding the commitment to be as close as possible to customers with modern and quality services.
