KEDS is strongly mobilized to combat the COVID-19 Corona Virus Pandemic. KEDS immediately established a Crisis Management Committee. This committee is constantly following the situation closely and is preparing a strategy of action in accordance with each movement, taking countermeasures at each step. Eight meetings up to now have resulted in decisions that have made KEDS the leader in taking measures.

Initially, every KEDS employee was notified of compliance with protective measures in line with recommendations from the Ministry of Health and the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health. Mobilization was then carried out at the highest level, taking the necessary measures to inform, increase of hygiene.

Disinfection of workspaces and vehicles has been done, hygiene measures have been increased and supply of disinfectants and materials needed throughout the company and on a continuous basis. The company has continued to provide all workers with the necessary protective equipment such as gloves, masks, protective clothing against various viruses, hygienic alcohol, disinfectant material, etc.

KEDS has also launched awareness campaigns to increase measures for personal hygiene, placing posters and flyers in all areas of the company. Another measure taken is to suspend activities requiring larger group meetings or employee meetings.

In parallel, the company has also reorganized its staff according to departments or units for coming to work, maintaining the necessary level of performance of works, giving priority to the core activities of the company.
