KEDS has successfully completed an important project in the village of Maxhunaj, Vushtrri, by installing a new transformer along with a low- and medium-voltage distribution network. This investment has brought a significant improvement in the quality of electricity services for over 100 residents of the area, who now enjoy a stable and secure supply.

This step represents the continuity of KEDS’ commitment to improving the electricity network in every corner of the country, eliminating problems of overloads and interference from natural factors that previously caused supply difficulties. The residents of Maxhunaj had long faced such issues, which negatively affected their quality of life.

The major change brought by this KEDS investment is also confirmed by the local consumers. Nazmi Proni, a resident of the village, expressed his satisfaction with this intervention:
“You have saved us! Before, our appliances didn’t work. Now everything runs as it should. You have brought us to the light,” said Proni, a miner at KEK, summarizing the feelings of many residents now benefiting from this project.

The project was carried out by KEDS’ maintenance teams, who completed the works with professionalism, without disrupting the daily lives of the residents. The installation of the new transformer and distribution network will ensure long-term supply stability, contributing to an improved quality of life and providing a stronger foundation for local economic development.

KEDS remains committed to advancing Kosovo’s energy infrastructure through such projects, ensuring that every consumer receives modern, safe, and reliable services.
