Continuous rain and snow is causing electricity outages to continue in some areas.

KEDS has reacted immediately, engaging around 400 field workers to repair damages to the network caused by atmospheric factors. The most affected areas currently are: Peja District, Mitrovica and a part of Prishtina.

KEDS teams have been working non-stop since yesterday afternoon in order to stabilize the electricity supply as soon as possible. However, atmospheric conditions are hindering the intervention as our teams cannot penetrate with their heavy machineries in many difficult areas, because the terrain is impassable by rainfall. Thus, they are forced to fix the breakdowns by physically carrying all the material and necessities to the needed place.
