Over the past week, several media have reported on a customer who built the house on the perimeter of an energized electric pole, inserting the existing pole inside the house. In the same story it is assumed that KEDS did not go to remove that pole.

KEDS initially expresses concern regarding the reporting of the case in question by Channel 10, as the information released to the public are untrue, i.e. disinformation.

A statement was taken from KEDS, but it was not attached to the story which was taken from many media, but was published about 12 hours later. KEDS has been trying to fix this during all day, but Channel 10 under no circumstances has accepted that our statement be attached to the report. Even the other media that have published the story, have not tried to have the side of KEDS, which is a journalistic obligation.

Moreover, in addition to one-sided reporting, receiving and publishing only the consumer side, the same raises serious charges against the company, which severely damage our reputation.

For the case in question, KEDS informs that according to the regulation, in case a customer wants to remove a pole from the existing position, the same must first make a request for dislocation of the pole which request is reviewed by the company.

According to the laws in force, which KEDS only applies, the displacement must be done by the requesting party. The media dealing with such topics should have these information.

Channel 10 did not ask the customer at all whether he made a request and why he did not make the displacement as provided by the laws governing Electricity. KEDS is accused of demanding money from the customer.

But, KEDS has not asked for a single cent and does not ask for money from anyone in such poles displacements, as it is a process that must be performed by the customer himself.

KEDS at the same time asks the justice organs to deal with this case, as such action by the citizen poses a direct threat to human life and such dangerous actions, not only must not be promoted in the media, but must be strictly prohibited.
