Today, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti, Mayor of Prizren municipality, Mr. Mytaher Haskuka and KEDS Management inaugurated the project for electrification and lighting of the village of Kabash in Prizren.

This historic village lying on the ancient archeological ruins, is being illuminated for the first time by KEDS in cooperation with the Municipality of Prizren.

The Executive Director of KEDS Network, Mr. Alpin Dogan stressed the importance of this investment project, adding that this area which has potential for tourism development from now on will not have the challenge of electricity.

"Two years ago we were invited to discuss about this cooperation, at first looking at the request was not easy, but today we finalized and we are very pleased to enjoy also you. As KEDS we have invested over 100 thousand euros to finalize 10 km line and we hope that the cooperation will continue even for low voltage ", he said.

This deep mountainous area, which is expected to turn into a tourist area, with the connection to the energy network of KEDS will offer numerous recreational opportunities for citizens and foreign tourists.

KEDS is continuing with investments in the energy network every day throughout Kosovo, which shows the company's commitment to fulfilling its promises and determination to be close to the customers to support them where needed.
