KEDS has engaged over 400 workers in terrain to intervene in the areas affected by the bad weather that swept the country. Since yesterday, dozens of our teams have been deployed across the country doing their best to repair the damage caused to the network as fast as possible.

The teams are working non-stop, with all available capacities in order to restore the electricity supply to the customers.

The bad weather, which is continuing even today, has caused damages to the network. The areas that are most affected by the damage caused to the network are: Peja, Gjakova, Prizren, Ferizaj and partially Prishtina and Mitrovica.

The continuous snowfall has made the penetration up to the breakdown more difficult, especially in peripheral and mountainous terrains, but our teams are making maximum efforts to repair the damage and restore the power supply in those areas.

KEDS is monitoring the network in real time through the Kosovanet program, where breakdowns are being evidenced in record time, while SCADA system is enabling the control of substations and a faster intervention by our teams.

KEDS appeals to citizens to cooperate with the field teams and if they see any breakdown in the network to report it through the Call Center to the toll free number: 0800 791 00 and the company's social networks.
