The four former KEDS Academy students earn full US scholarships from MCC funds
KEDS is pleased to inform you that four former KEDS Academy students: Albiona Lalinovci, Alketa Sahiti, Erza Rama and Fjolla Fazliu, have received a full scholarship in America from Millenium Fondation Kosova, part of US Government funds.
The purpose of this foundation is to increase women's participation in decision-making, especially in the energy sector.
KEDS Academy students are among the 28 scholars from all over Kosovo.
Among them is Albiona Lalinovci, a KEDS engineer and a former KEDS Academy student. "It is my honor and privilege to be on that list. Of course I will give my best to prepare myself professionally and make a contribution when I return", says Albiona.
Very satisfied is expressed to be the other former KEDS Academy student, Alketa Sahiti, expert on System Measurement Analysis at the Department of Trade at KESCO. "I applied to the MCC to further my knowledge. When I realized that I was part of the list, it was a hard-to-describe feeling, it seemed to me unbelievable. We will specialize and look closely at the world's most advanced technologies. It is a golden opportunity that was given to us. We will do our utmost to be successful there", says Alketa.
As the main goal of the KEDS program created 6 years ago, KEDS Academy is the professional advancement of students, their preparation for the labor market, and the creation of professional capacities that will help the country develop, with this case, KEDS congratulates students, congratulates them on their further professional development, as well as their contribution to Kosovo
