KEDS has finalized the works for placing the alternative cable for the city of Deçan, creating a much greater stability and reliability of electricity supply.

The company has extended the alternative cable 2400m connected to the overheadline. Now, Decani citizens in case of a blackout will not have long interruptions of electricty as there are alternative supply options. This cable will serve as a supplier of majority part of the city of Deçan until it is repaired any appearing blackout or any other unexpected event that may occur.

KEDS has intervened in these low temperatures to extend this cable since recently there have been problems supplying this city as a result of damage to the underground cable. However, several hours interruptions have already been avoided. This, also due to the maximum commitment of KEDS employees and constant support from Municipality of Deçan.
