KEDS expands and reinforces the network for 225 families in Dragobil of Malisheva 27-07-2018

There are 225 dragobila families that will have much more qualitative and stable electricity from the next investment from KEDS. With this investment, the quality of life of residents in these areas has also increased.
During the implementation of this project, KEDS has placed two new substations with a capacity of 250 kVA and have repaired three existing substations that meet / fulfill the energy needs of the customers of this area. The old wooden poles are replaced with new concrete poles and all bare conductors (without insulation) have been removed that have been hazardous to the residents and replaced with insulated twisted cables where the risk level is zero. Naturally, technical losses have also been reduced.
This investment is welcome for village residents, especially for businesses.

One of them is the company for the production of concrete cubes used in construction and various activities. The owner of NTSH "Neziri", Behxhet Paçarrizi, is extremely satisfied with the work of KEDS in their village.
"The poles were too old and very low voltage and we had many, many problems. There was electricity, but we could not use it. Now the 10 kV overhead line is offered closer and has entered into work not only to us, but also to new businesses in this area.

The village has grown a lot and with the capacity has increased for about 200 houses in the area. Now is the voltage 220 V and everything is fine. We are grateful to KEDS that has made us a solution", Paçarrizi said.
Village residents say this investment has made it much easier the works to them.

Even Vahide Paçarizi, thanks KEDS for their work and efforts they have done for them.

"Children were at risk whenever they walked across the garden from the wires laying on the ground. After electrcity was stopped all the works were stopped. Now KEDS is working very well and we are moving forward. We thank the company for the work and effort it has made for us", Ms. Vahide concluded.

KEDAS is continuing with investments, and now has regulated the voltage and energy infrastructure for many settlements throughout Kosovo.
