New poles, traffo and new electric network, have benefited the inhabitants of Shkozë village of Malisheva, from the investments that KEDS is doing throughout the territory of Kosovo.
With this investment KEDS has improved the quality of energy, voltage stabilization and quality supply to the consumers of this village.
KEDS Spokesperson, Viktor Buzhala has informed that 124 new poles, two traffoss and several kilometers of new network have been set up in Shkoza.
"In this small village of Malisheva, in the framework of the investment project, were placed 124 new of low and medium voltage poles, two new traffos, one with a power of 160 kVA and the other 400. Also, all bare conductors have been removed, which have been hazardous for residents and were replaced with isolated braided cables where the risk level is zero," Buzhala said.
96 families in this village have benefited from this investment.
The head of the village Kadri Bytyçi, said that this KEDS investment has improved the electricity supply. According to him, electricity in this village was very poor.
"The village was being supplied with one trafo," he says.
Bytyci said he hopes KEDS will invest again in this region, so that other residents can benefit.
"We hope KEDS will continue to invest in the future as well," he said.
